The capacitor storage provides instantaneous bridging of short power interruptions — from a few milliseconds up to several seconds depending on load — protecting equipment from brief voltage dips, brownouts, and fast power interruptions.

The UC Series is particularly well-suited to applications where battery maintenance is impractical or undesirable, such as in cleanroom environments, hazardous locations, or installations with very long service intervals. The dual-input UC10.242 variant provides added flexibility for dual-source power systems.
